        Last night was the 3rd Annual Platinum Cake Competition hosted by Texas Wedding Guide at the Magnolia Hotel in Dallas. Delicious Cakes was honored to be apart of the fantastic event and was recognized for our Raspberry Liqueur and Princess Cake flavor. Below are some photos of our cake creation from start to finish. Decked out with a sea of vintage pearls, ruffles, a sweet piping design, and hand painted gum paste flowers...this entirely edible cake would be a perfect selection for a bride's romantic wedding. Sweet Dessert Bars

          Wedding cakes are lovely, the centerpiece of a wedding...besides the bride of course. Instead of one cake, many brides are springing for MORE variety, MORE options, MORE DESSERT! They have been getting creative and crafty turning tables and furniture into sweet dreams for their guests to delight over.

        The desserts range from cake pops, macaroons, donuts, s'mores, cookies, ice cream, pretzel sticks, and the classic cupcake. Some brides have chosen to have several small cakes instead of one large; each with a different design to reflect their wedding theme and colors.
