Art. When you think of the word you might imagine a painting, drawings, brushes, your favorite artist perhaps? Cake + Art = An Edible Masterpiece. The cake decorators below combined the aesthetic of some well known pieces with icing to create these cake masterpieces! Just two weeks ago, Delicious Cakes presented a beautiful cake to a couple whose wedding took place in a local art museum.  This cake was inspired by Jackson Pollock.  Which of your favorite artists would you like to see interpreted cake-style?

Contest Cake Creation

        Last night was the 3rd Annual Platinum Cake Competition hosted by Texas Wedding Guide at the Magnolia Hotel in Dallas. Delicious Cakes was honored to be apart of the fantastic event and was recognized for our Raspberry Liqueur and Princess Cake flavor. Below are some photos of our cake creation from start to finish. Decked out with a sea of vintage pearls, ruffles, a sweet piping design, and hand painted gum paste flowers...this entirely edible cake would be a perfect selection for a bride's romantic wedding.
